The Bowery Poetry Club is a New York City poetry performance space founded by Bob Holman in 2002. It is a popular meeting place for artists and aspiring artists.

This is the place! – Look, I've been to a lot of clubs, but there is NOTHING like the Bowery Poetry Club. The place is cool. The staff is wonderful. There's great coffee and salads and sandwiches. A full bar. And the poetry vibe is an amazing thing -- it means open and smart, but there's music and theater too. PLEASE check this place out. It's what makes New York New!
